- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to accurately diagnose and develop treatment plans for individuals seeking mental health services.
- Provide evidence-based treatment to individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to address the unique needs of each individual client.
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology.
- Serve as an advocate for clients and promote their rights and dignity in all aspects of treatment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of clinical practice.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with colleagues.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to the practice of clinical psychology.
- Uphold the mission and values of the State of Connecticut and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services in all aspects of job performance.
Doctoral Degree In Psychology From An Accredited University
License To Practice Psychology In The State Of Connecticut
Specialization Or Experience In Clinical Psychology
Knowledge And Experience In Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Diverse Populations And Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals.
