  1. Serve and protect the citizens of the State of Connecticut by enforcing laws and responding to emergency situations.
  2. Uphold the values and standards of the State of Connecticut Police Department.
  3. Maintain a high level of physical and mental fitness to effectively carry out duties as a Police Officer.
  4. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in handling various situations and making quick and effective decisions.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence in criminal cases.
  6. Communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors, and members of the public.
  7. Continuously train and stay updated on laws, policies, and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Police Officer In The State Of Connecticut Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That Candidates Possess Basic Knowledge And Skills Necessary For The Job.
