  13. Participate in continuing education to improve skills and stay current on advancements in the field.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with integrity.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Phlebotomy Training Program: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Recognized Phlebotomy Training Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification: Must Possess A Valid Certification From A Recognized Certifying Agency Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Anatomy: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Anatomy, And Physiology To Accurately Identify And Label Blood Samples.

  • Experience: Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Laboratory.

  • Interpersonal And Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Interact With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Laboratory Staff In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.
