Welcome to the State of Connecticut's Department of Education! We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as an Instructor of Photography. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills in the art of photography with eager students.   1. Develop and deliver engaging and informative photography lessons to students.
  2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  3. Share knowledge and expertise in various photography techniques and styles.
  4. Provide individualized attention and support to students to help them improve their skills.
  5. Evaluate and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with other instructors to develop curriculum and coordinate lesson plans.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in photography to incorporate into lessons.
  8. Conduct workshops and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of photography.
  9. Foster a passion for photography in students and inspire them to pursue their creative potential.
  10. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
  11. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to address any concerns or issues.
  12. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  13. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  14. Act as a role model for students by demonstrating professionalism, creativity, and a love for learning.
  15. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the photography program and the Department of Education.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Photography, Art, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Professional Photography Experience, With A Strong Portfolio Demonstrating Technical And Creative Skills.

  • Experience Teaching Or Leading Photography Workshops, Classes, Or Other Educational Programs.

  • Proficiency In Various Photography Techniques And Equipment, Including Digital And Traditional Methods.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Teach And Engage Students Of Diverse Backgrounds And Skill Levels.
