  1. Oversee and manage the monitoring and review of state programs to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  2. Conduct comprehensive fiscal reviews to ensure proper allocation and utilization of taxpayer funds.
  3. Develop and implement monitoring protocols and procedures to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of state programs.
  4. Collaborate with program managers and staff to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action.

  6. Prepare and present detailed reports to upper management and government officials on program and fiscal review findings.
  7. Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations and guidelines related to program monitoring and fiscal management.
  8. Train and supervise a team of program monitors and fiscal reviewers to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations.
  9. Serve as a liaison between state agencies and external auditors during program and fiscal reviews.
  10. Identify and implement strategies to promote accountability and transparency in government operations.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into program monitoring and fiscal review processes.
  12. Collaborate with other state departments and agencies to identify opportunities for cross-program coordination and improvement.
  13. Represent the state of Connecticut in meetings and conferences related to program monitoring and fiscal management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Accounting, Finance, Or Public Administration.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Program Monitoring And Fiscal Review, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Program Monitoring And Fiscal Oversight.

  • Excellent Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data And Reports.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Multiple Programs Simultaneously.
