
Wildlife Habitat Assistant

- Conduct research and assist in the development of wildlife habitat management plans.
- Monitor and assess the health and condition of various wildlife habitats.
- Assist in the implementation of conservation practices to protect and preserve wildlife habitats.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address any potential threats to wildlife habitats.
- Utilize effective communication skills to educate and engage the public in conservation efforts.
- Maintain accurate records and data on wildlife populations and habitat conditions.
- Conduct field surveys and collect data on species diversity and abundance.
- Assist in the coordination of habitat restoration projects.
- Conduct outreach and education programs to promote awareness and understanding of wildlife habitats.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and regulations related to wildlife habitat management.
- Work closely with other departments, agencies, and organizations to advance conservation initiatives.
- Continuously stay informed on current research and best practices in wildlife habitat management.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
- Maintain a strong passion for and commitment to the preservation of natural resources.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field.
Bachelor's Degree In Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Wildlife Habitat Management Or Restoration Role.
Knowledge Of Local And Federal Regulations Related To Wildlife And Habitat Conservation.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, And Community Members.
Ability To Operate And Maintain Equipment And Tools Used In Habitat Restoration And Management, Such As Chainsaws, Tractors, And Herbicide Applicators.
