- Support the Specialty Operations Underwriting Manager in all aspects of the underwriting process.
- Assess risk, evaluate applications, and make sound underwriting decisions.

- Contribute to the success of the state insurance program by meeting or exceeding underwriting targets and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on product offerings and underwriting guidelines.
- Attend industry events and participate in continuing education to enhance underwriting knowledge and skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all underwriting activities.
- Adhere to all company and state regulations and policies.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Specialty Operations Underwriting Manager.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Insurance Underwriting, Preferably In A Specialty Operations Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of California Insurance Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards.
Excellent Analytical And Decision-Making Skills.
Prior Experience In Managing A Team Of Underwriters And Overseeing Their Workflow.
