- Collaborate with other policy analysts, government agencies, and external organizations to gather information, share best practices, and coordinate efforts.
- Stay current on legislative and regulatory developments that may impact policies and provide timely updates and analysis to relevant parties.
- Lead or participate in meetings, forums, and public hearings to discuss policy issues, gather feedback, and address concerns.
- Advise and support policymakers in developing and implementing effective policies and programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of policies and recommend modifications or adjustments as needed.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, interns, and other team members.
- Maintain records and documentation of policy development processes, decisions, and outcomes.
- Represent the organization in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Continuously develop and enhance knowledge and skills through training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Advanced Degree In Public Policy, Political Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Policy Analysis And Development At The State Or Federal Level.
Strong Understanding Of Government Processes, Including Legislation, Regulations, And Budgeting.
Excellent Research And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Collect And Analyze Data From Various Sources.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Policy Recommendations, Including The Ability To Write And Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
