  5. Prioritize and triage emergency calls based on the level of urgency and available resources.
  6. Communicate with agencies and departments to coordinate response efforts.
  7. Monitor and respond to various communication channels, including radio, phone, and computer systems.
  8. Provide support and guidance to callers in emergency situations.
  9. Stay up-to-date on emergency procedures and protocols.
  10. Collaborate with team members and other agencies to ensure efficient and effective response to emergencies.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  12. Follow protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of first responders and the public.
  13. Remain alert and attentive during long shifts and rotating schedules.
  14. Attend training and participate in ongoing education to improve skills and knowledge.
  15. Serve as a positive representative of the State of California and the public safety department.
