
HR Liaison and Office Coordinator

- Serve as a liaison between the human resources department and other departments within the organization.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews.
- Process and maintain employee records and confidential information.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and interviews for the HR department.
- Support the recruitment and hiring process by posting job ads, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain and update HR databases and spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to address HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Manage daily office operations, including ordering supplies, managing mail, and organizing office events.
- Provide administrative support to executives and other team members, including scheduling appointments, taking meeting minutes, and preparing presentations.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in HR processes and office operations and implement solutions.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment by promoting open communication and resolving conflicts.
- Adhere to all company and legal policies and procedures related to HR and office operations.
- Continuously strive to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the HR department and office operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Hr Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Hr Principles And Practices.
Previous Experience In Hr: Prior Experience Working In A Human Resources Role, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Demonstrates A Candidate's Knowledge Of Hr Processes And Procedures Specific To The State Of California.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Hr Liaison, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Managing Relationships With Employees, Management, And Other Stakeholders. The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Hr Policies And Procedures Is Also Critical.
Organizational And Administrative Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Organization, As The Hr Liaison And Office Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Managing Various Tasks, Such As Scheduling Meetings, Maintaining Employee Records, And Coordinating Hr Events.
