  • Develop, implement, and evaluate health programs for inmates at Mule Creek State Prison, including but not limited to mental health, substance abuse, and chronic disease management programs
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, correctional staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the success and sustainability of health programs
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements based on data and feedback from inmates and staff
  • Conduct needs assessments and research to identify and address the specific health needs of the inmate population
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to health programs in a correctional setting
  • Coordinate and facilitate trainings and workshops for inmates on various health topics
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for inmates regarding their health and wellness needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to health programs
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including inmates, staff, and external partners, to build relationships and promote collaboration
  • Stay current on the latest trends and developments in public health and correctional healthcare to inform program design and implementation
  • Contribute to the overall mission and goals of Mule Creek State Prison by promoting a culture of health and wellness.
