- Develop and implement health programs to address the needs of communities in California.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies, to identify health priorities and develop strategies for addressing them.
- Design and conduct needs assessments and program evaluations to ensure the effectiveness and impact of health programs.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to local agencies and organizations in implementing public health initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on current public health trends, research, and best practices to inform program development and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines in the development and implementation of health programs.
- Monitor and track program progress, outcomes, and budget expenditures.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate program effectiveness and impact to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address health disparities and social determinants of health.
- Train and mentor staff and volunteers involved in implementing health programs.
- Foster partnerships and collaborations with external organizations to leverage resources and maximize the impact of health programs.
- Represent the state in meetings, conferences, and other events related to public health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation related to health programs.
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including policymakers, community members, healthcare professionals, and government officials.
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in all aspects of program development and implementation.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Health Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Program Planning, Development, And Evaluation.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Guidelines Related To Public Health Programs.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Program Needs And Recommend Solutions.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Collaborate With Stakeholders And Present Program Information To Diverse Audiences.
