  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of front-line staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  2. Ensure high quality customer service is provided to all constituents.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of front-line operations.
  4. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with other managers and departments to ensure smooth and coordinated service delivery.
  6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and community members.
  7. Support and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  8. Provide guidance and support to front-line staff in handling complex or escalated issues.
  9. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance.
  10. Identify and implement professional development opportunities for front-line staff.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to provide updates, report issues, and recommend solutions.
  12. Represent the State of California in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  13. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the front-line team.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to front-line staff.
  15. Handle any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Pertaining To The Specific Department Or Program.
