As the Field Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our regional office, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to the public.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the regional office and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Manage and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and timely completion of tasks.
  3. Monitor and track office budget, expenses, and resources to ensure proper utilization and adherence to state guidelines.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve office efficiency and productivity.
  5. Act as a liaison between the regional office and other state agencies, as well as the public, to address and resolve any issues or concerns.
  6. Maintain a high level of customer service by responding to inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Train and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  8. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff to promote professional development.
  9. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines related to the operations of the regional office.
  10. Collaborate with other state agencies and departments to coordinate and implement programs and initiatives.
  11. Prepare and present reports on office activities, including budget, performance, and recommendations for improvement.
  12. Keep up-to-date with changes in state policies and procedures and communicate them effectively to staff.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, diversity, and mutual respect.
  14. Lead by example and uphold the values and mission of the State of California in all interactions with staff and the public.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Office Management, Preferably In A Government Setting.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations And Laws Related To Office Operations.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team Effectively.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
