  1. Develop and implement employment programs and services to support the economic well-being of Californians.
  2. Establish and maintain partnerships with employers, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance employment opportunities for individuals.
  3. Oversee the recruitment and training of staff to ensure effective delivery of employment development programs and services.
  4. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements and modifications.
  5. Stay up-to-date on state and federal employment laws and regulations to ensure program compliance.
  6. Collaborate with other state agencies and stakeholders to identify and address workforce development needs and trends.
  7. Develop and manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of funds.
  8. Provide guidance and support to program staff and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
  9. Develop and maintain data systems to track program outcomes and ensure accurate reporting to state and federal agencies.
  10. Conduct outreach and promote program services to potential participants, employers, and community partners.
  11. Represent the program at meetings, conferences, and other events to increase awareness and support for employment development initiatives.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and advocates to advance the program's goals and objectives.
  13. Develop and implement strategies to address barriers to employment and promote diversity and inclusivity in the workforce.
  14. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and disseminate program materials and resources.
  15. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in employment development to inform program strategies and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • 3-5 Years Of Experience In Employment Development, Including Knowledge Of Labor Laws And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Employment Programs, Such As Unemployment Insurance And Job Training Initiatives.
