- Oversee the operations of the statewide nutrition programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in promoting health and wellness through nutrition.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the delivery and impact of nutrition programs in the state.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of dietitians and nutrition professionals to ensure high-quality services are delivered to the community.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to address any issues.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to coordinate efforts and promote a holistic approach to health and wellness.
- Develop and manage budgets, allocate resources, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay current on nutrition research and trends, and incorporate best practices into program design and implementation.
- Conduct trainings and workshops for staff and community members on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Represent the state in meetings, conferences, and events related to nutrition and public health.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and professional development.
- Ensure the confidentiality of client/patient information and adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in all aspects of the job.

Bachelor’s Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Or A Related Field.
Current Registration As A Dietitian With The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Institutional Food Service Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Management Role.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Nutrition And Food Service, Including Joint Commission Standards And Title 22 Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
