- Lead a team of technical support specialists and provide guidance and direction to ensure efficient and effective support for business applications used throughout the state.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for application support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, ensuring timely resolution of issues and adherence to service level agreements.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and prioritize business application needs and requirements.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Analyze and report on application performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance system efficiency.
- Serve as the main point of contact for escalated issues and provide timely and effective resolution to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in business applications, and make recommendations for improvements and updates to current systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure timely and effective support for business applications.
- Act as a liaison between the business users and the IT department, ensuring clear communication and understanding of application needs and requirements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a customer-centric approach.
- Take ownership of critical incidents and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy and security regulations and policies in the management of business applications.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Application Support, Preferably In A Government Or Large Organization Setting.
Strong Technical Skills And Knowledge Of Various Business Software Applications Such As Microsoft Office, Salesforce, And Oracle.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.
Proven Experience In Managing And Leading A Team, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Delegate Responsibilities Effectively.
