  1. Conduct research and analysis on air quality data to identify areas of concern and develop strategies for improvement.
  2. Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders to develop and implement air pollution control programs.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of air pollution control measures and make recommendations for improvements.
  4. Conduct field inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with air quality regulations.
  5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members, stakeholders, and the public on air pollution issues.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current and emerging air quality regulations, policies, and technologies.
  7. Develop and deliver educational materials and presentations to increase public awareness of air pollution and its impact on public health.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations on air quality data, trends, and control strategies for government officials and other stakeholders.
  9. Identify and respond to citizen complaints and inquiries regarding air quality.
  10. Participate in public outreach events and engage with local communities to promote air pollution awareness and education.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate efforts and ensure a comprehensive approach to air pollution control.
  12. Monitor and manage air quality grants and contracts to ensure compliance with regulations and goals.
  13. Conduct training and provide guidance to industry and business partners on air pollution control measures and compliance requirements.
  14. Participate in the development and review of air quality regulations and policies.
  15. Act as a liaison between government agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Air Quality Monitoring, Data Analysis, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Air Quality Laws, Regulations, And Policies.

  • Experience With Air Quality Modeling And Forecasting Techniques.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders.
