  1. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest agricultural techniques and methods.
  2. Perform various tasks related to the maintenance and operation of agricultural equipment and machinery.
  3. Assist in the implementation of pest and disease control measures.
  4. Keep accurate records of agricultural activities and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  5. Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of agricultural crops and livestock.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field.
  8. Communicate with farmers and other stakeholders to provide necessary support and guidance.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to agricultural equipment.
  10. Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding agriculture and environmental protection.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable farming practices.
  13. Maintain and repair irrigation systems and other agricultural infrastructure.
  14. Assist with harvesting, packing, and shipping of agricultural products.
  15. Keep track of inventory and supplies needed for agricultural operations.
  16. Mentor and train entry-level technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
  17. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet industry standards.
  18. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support the success of the agricultural department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Agriculture, Plant Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Agriculture And Land Use.

  • Experience In Conducting Field Research And Data Collection, As Well As Analyzing And Reporting On Findings.

  • Ability To Operate And Maintain Agricultural Equipment, Including Tractors, Sprayers, And Irrigation Systems.
