  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the State of California.
  2. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in regards to accounting procedures.
  3. Perform data entry and reconciliation of financial transactions.
  4. Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
  5. Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or errors.
  6. Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports to track financial information.
  7. Communicate with other departments and agencies to gather and verify financial information.
  8. Assist in the preparation of budget reports and forecasts.
  9. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  10. Stay informed about changes in accounting principles and procedures.
  11. Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to streamline accounting processes.
  12. Work independently to prioritize and complete tasks within established deadlines.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Abide by all ethical and professional standards in the performance of duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Bookkeeping
