  1. Monitor and respond to emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Dispatch appropriate resources to emergency situations.
  3. Provide support to first responders during emergency situations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all calls and dispatches.
  5. Communicate effectively with law enforcement, fire department, and other emergency services personnel.
  6. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  7. Follow established protocols and procedures for emergency response.
  8. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of emergency response systems and procedures.
  9. Communicate important information to the public during emergency situations.
  10. Collaborate with other Watch Center Specialists and team members to ensure effective and efficient response to emergencies.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  12. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle complex emergency situations.
  13. Represent the State of Arizona in a professional and positive manner.
  14. Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Emergency Management, Public Administration, Or Law Enforcement.

  • Previous Experience Working In A 24/7 Watch Center Or Emergency Operations Center.

  • Knowledge Of Emergency Response Protocols And Procedures, Including Incident Command System And National Incident Management System.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Effectively Coordinate And Disseminate Information To Various Stakeholders.

  • Familiarity With Computer Systems And Technology Used In Emergency Management, Such As Gis Mapping And Emergency Notification Systems.
