- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and share resources and best practices.
- Provide support and guidance to clients during challenging times or setbacks.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards clients, promoting self-advocacy and independence.
- Represent the agency in a professional manner and uphold ethical standards in all interactions and activities.
- Continuously seek out professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge of disability services.
Master's Degree In Counseling Or A Related Field, With A Specialization In Vocational Rehabilitation.
Certification As A Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (Cvr) Through The Commission On Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (Crcc).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Vocational Rehabilitation Services To Individuals With Disabilities.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Vocational Rehabilitation Programs And Services.
Strong Communication, Assessment, And Counseling Skills, With The Ability To Develop Individualized Rehabilitation Plans And Provide Guidance And Support To Clients.
