Job Description

Welcome to the State of Arizona! We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Unit Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our unit, maintaining records and files, and assisting with various tasks as needed. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.   1. Serve as the main point of contact for the unit, greeting and welcoming visitors and providing them with necessary information.
  2. Maintain organized and accurate records and files, including patient records, inventory and supply lists, and other documents as needed.
  3. Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
  4. Assist with various tasks as needed, including data entry, creating reports, and coordinating meetings.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
  6. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  7. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
  9. Act as a liaison between the unit and other departments or external parties.
  10. Stay updated on relevant policies and procedures and ensure compliance with them.
  11. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency within the unit.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors and colleagues.
  13. Attend trainings and educational workshops to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  14. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Basic Clerical Skills

  • Proficiency In Computer Applications, Such As Microsoft Office And Electronic Medical Records Systems

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
