- Maintain accurate inventory records for all products in the store.
- Receive and distribute supplies and equipment to various departments.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the store, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
- Work closely with other team members to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking shelves and maintaining a visually appealing store layout.
- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors regarding inventory levels, orders, and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling and storing products and equipment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Assist with the training and supervision of new store team members.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and store heavy objects.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding the storage and distribution of products.
- Assist with the preparation of reports on store operations and inventory levels.
- Attend training sessions and stay informed on industry developments and best practices.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with colleagues and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Storekeeper At State Of Arizona Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Prior Experience In Inventory Management: Candidates Must Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Inventory Management, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Setting.
Strong Attention To Detail: Storekeepers Must Be Detail-Oriented And Have The Ability To Accurately Track And Manage Inventory Levels.
Computer Skills: Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Inventory Management Software Is Required For This Role.
Physical Ability: The Job Of A Storekeeper May Require Lifting And Moving Heavy Items, So Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks.
