- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to securities fraud to effectively identify and prosecute violations.
- Conduct interviews and gather statements from witnesses, victims, and suspects to gather relevant information and evidence.
- Analyze financial documents and records to identify patterns and discrepancies that may indicate fraudulent activities.
- Prepare and submit reports and evidence for court proceedings and testify as a witness when necessary.
- Utilize various investigative techniques, such as surveillance and undercover operations, to gather information and evidence.
- Communicate with victims of securities fraud to provide support and updates on the investigation process.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all investigations and case files.
- Work closely with attorneys and prosecutors to assist in the successful prosecution of securities fraud cases.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field
Experience In Securities Law And Regulations, Preferably In A Regulatory Or Enforcement Role
Knowledge Of Financial Analysis And Investigative Techniques
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Attention To Detail And Ability To Handle Sensitive Information
