  1. Provide direct patient care and support to individuals undergoing rehabilitation therapy.
  2. Assist patients with daily activities and exercises as prescribed by a licensed therapist.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the therapist.
  4. Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement treatment plans for each patient.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
  7. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and discussions related to patient care.
  8. Utilize equipment and tools appropriately to assist patients in their therapy sessions.
  9. Adhere to all state and facility policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and learning to enhance patient care.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  12. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  13. Collaborate with community resources to ensure patients have access to necessary support services.
  14. Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in working with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the therapy team or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. Preference May Be Given To Candidates With An Associate's Degree Or Higher In A Related Field Such As Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Or Rehabilitation Therapy.

  • Certification Or Licensure: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification As A Rehabilitation Technician Or A License As An Occupational Therapy Assistant Or Physical Therapy Assistant From An Accredited Institution.

  • Experience: At Least Two Years Of Experience In A Rehabilitation Therapy Setting Is Preferred. This May Include Experience As A Rehabilitation Aide, Therapy Technician, Or Similar Role.

  • Knowledge Of Rehabilitation Techniques: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Rehabilitation Techniques, Including Therapeutic Exercises, Modalities, And Assistive Devices. They Should Also Be Familiar With Basic Anatomy And Medical Terminology.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Population Of Patients And Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
