In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects throughout the state.   1. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT projects across the state of Arizona.
  2. Oversee the execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  4. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
  5. Communicate project progress, status, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
  6. Manage project resources, including team members, vendors, and contractors.
  7. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, ensuring all team members are aligned and working towards the project goals.
  8. Ensure compliance with state and industry standards and regulations.
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and procedures.
  10. Monitor and report on project budget, expenses, and resources.
  11. Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off, status updates, and project close-out.
  12. Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  13. Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas of improvement and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
  14. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in IT project management and implement best practices.
  15. Represent the IT team and the state of Arizona in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In The It Industry.

  • Pmp Certification Or Equivalent Project Management Certification.

  • Strong Understanding Of Project Management Methodologies, Such As Agile And Waterfall.

  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
