  1. Conduct occupational health assessments, inspections, and investigations to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.
  2. Utilize industrial hygiene principles and techniques to evaluate and monitor potential health risks in the workplace.
  3. Collect and analyze air, water, and soil samples to assess the presence of hazardous substances.
  4. Develop and implement control measures to mitigate or eliminate occupational health hazards.
  5. Conduct ergonomic evaluations and make recommendations to improve employee comfort and safety.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and teams to develop safety policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized records of all assessments, inspections, and investigations.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to industrial hygiene and safety.
  9. Train employees on proper safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.
  10. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and make suggestions for improvement.
  11. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  12. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
  13. Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
  14. Maintain proper calibration and maintenance of equipment used in occupational health assessments.
  15. Attend training and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in industrial hygiene.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification From The American Board Of Industrial Hygiene (Abih) As A Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Industrial Hygiene Or Occupational Health And Safety.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Federal And State Laws And Regulations Pertaining To Industrial Hygiene And Occupational Health And Safety.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Communicate Technical Information Effectively To A Variety Of Audiences.
