  1. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert in all areas of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and benefits.
  3. Collaborate with managers and employees to resolve complex HR issues and provide effective solutions.
  4. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  5. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations related to employment.
  6. Conduct thorough investigations and maintain accurate documentation of employee relations issues.
  7. Assist with recruitment efforts by reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  8. Administer employee benefits programs and provide support to employees with questions or issues.
  9. Manage and maintain HR databases and employee records.
  10. Develop and deliver training programs on various HR topics.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  13. Collaborate with other HR team members to streamline processes and improve overall team efficiency.
  14. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by HR leadership.
  15. Represent the HR team and the State of Arizona in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Human Resources Role, With A Focus On Recruitment, Employee Relations, And/Or Benefits Administration.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Regulations, And Policies.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Groups Of Employees.

  • Proven Proficiency In Hr Software And Technology, Such As Applicant Tracking Systems And Hris.
