- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) grant.
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospital partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hospital partners to assess their readiness and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate trainings and exercises to enhance the preparedness of hospitals and healthcare systems.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of the HPP grant.
- Stay up-to-date on emergency management principles and best practices.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including hospital partners, grant funders, and state officials.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all grant activities and expenditures.
- Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation of the grant.
- Collaborate with other emergency preparedness programs and initiatives to promote coordination and alignment.
- Seek out and apply for additional funding opportunities to support emergency preparedness efforts.
- Participate in emergency response and recovery efforts as needed.
- Represent the HPP grant program and the state of Arizona at meetings, conferences, and other events related to emergency preparedness.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Emergency Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Emergency Preparedness And Response.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Emergency Preparedness Regulations And Guidelines.
Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Develop And Implement Emergency Response Plans.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders Including Hospital Staff, Government Officials, And Community Organizations.
