
Grants Project Specialist

- Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with the state's initiatives and projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with grant funding agencies and organizations
- Coordinate and lead the grant application process, ensuring all necessary documents and information are submitted accurately and on time
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to develop project proposals and budgets that align with grant requirements
- Monitor and track the progress of active grants, ensuring all reporting and compliance requirements are met
- Communicate regularly with grant funders to provide updates on project progress and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all grant-related information, including applications, reports, and budgets
- Conduct regular research and analysis to identify potential funding sources and trends in grant funding
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in grant regulations to ensure compliance and maximize funding opportunities
- Support the development and implementation of project plans and timelines, working closely with project managers and team members
- Represent the state and its initiatives at grant-related events, conferences, and meetings.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Managing Grant Projects, Preferably In A Government Or Nonprofit Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Grant Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Stakeholders.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Meet Deadlines.
