  1. Utilize GIS technology to analyze and interpret spatial data for various state agencies.
  2. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement innovative GIS solutions.
  3. Conduct research and gather data from multiple sources to create accurate and comprehensive maps.
  4. Develop and maintain databases to store and manage geographic data.
  5. Create visual representations of data using maps, charts, and graphs.
  6. Assist in the design and development of GIS projects and applications.
  7. Provide technical support and training to other team members and state agency employees.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in GIS technology and make recommendations for its implementation.
  9. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to GIS data and applications.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project needs and provide timely updates.
  11. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of GIS data and applications.
  12. Adhere to state and federal regulations and guidelines related to GIS data management and usage.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and agencies to share and acquire GIS data.
  14. Participate in meetings and presentations to share GIS insights and recommendations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Gis, Geography, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Gis Software And Databases.

  • Knowledge Of Gis Principles, Data Management, And Cartographic Design.

  • Familiarity With Esri Arcgis Software And Web-Based Mapping Applications.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
