As the External Affairs Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in promoting and advocating for the state of Arizona to external stakeholders.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to promote and advocate for the state of Arizona to external stakeholders.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with government officials, community leaders, and other key stakeholders to advance the state's initiatives.
  3. Monitor and analyze external trends and developments that may impact the state of Arizona and provide recommendations to leadership.
  4. Coordinate and organize events and meetings with external stakeholders to promote and raise awareness of the state of Arizona.
  5. Serve as a spokesperson for the state of Arizona, representing its interests to external audiences.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments to develop and distribute informational materials and communications to external stakeholders.
  7. Prepare and deliver presentations to external stakeholders on behalf of the state of Arizona.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of the state's policies, programs, and initiatives in order to effectively communicate them to external stakeholders.
  9. Stay up-to-date on relevant legislative and regulatory changes that may affect the state of Arizona and communicate them to internal teams.
  10. Act as a liaison between the state of Arizona and external organizations, advocating for the state's interests and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  11. Represent the state of Arizona at external conferences, meetings, and other events.
  12. Collaborate with other government agencies and departments to coordinate external affairs efforts.
  13. Monitor media coverage and social media activity related to the state of Arizona and provide reports and recommendations to leadership.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports of all external affairs activities and outcomes.
  15. Continuously seek out opportunities to enhance the state's reputation and promote its initiatives to external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In External Affairs, Government Relations, Or Public Affairs.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Arizona State Government Processes And Policies.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Elected Officials, Community Leaders, And Media Outlets.
