- Conduct research and analysis on environmental issues and regulations to support department initiatives and projects.
- Design and implement environmentally sustainable solutions to address complex environmental challenges.
- Perform site inspections and evaluations to assess potential environmental impacts and develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with other team members and agencies to develop and implement environmental policies and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with environmental regulations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare reports and presentations on environmental issues and projects for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to environmental engineering.
- Communicate with the public and stakeholders to educate and promote environmental awareness and compliance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other staff members and stakeholders on environmental engineering matters.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and seminars to share knowledge and expertise in the field of environmental engineering.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities, data, and results.
- Ensure that all projects and activities comply with state and federal environmental regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including scientists, planners, and policymakers, to develop and implement comprehensive environmental solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to address potential environmental hazards.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in environmental engineering practices.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Engineering Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Environmental Engineering, Preferably In A Government Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Laws.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
