- Provide guidance and support to job seekers in their job search and career development process.
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths, weaknesses, and employment barriers.
- Develop individualized employment plans for clients, taking into consideration their skills, interests, and goals.
- Assist clients in developing job search skills, such as resume writing, interview preparation, and networking.
- Collaborate with local employers to identify job opportunities for clients and assist in job placement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and outcomes.
- Conduct follow-up services to ensure client success and retention in employment.
- Stay informed about labor market trends, job market demands, and available resources to better assist clients.
- Provide referrals to other social service agencies and programs as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for improving services.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in working with clients and their personal information.
- Continuously evaluate and improve program effectiveness and outcomes.
- Attend trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Career Counseling Or Workforce Development.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Employment And Workforce Development.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Diverse Populations.
Certification In Career Counseling Or Related Field Preferred.
