- Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide guidance to both employees and management.
- Conduct investigations into employee relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, and other workplace conflicts.
- Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations.
- Act as a mediator between employees and management to resolve conflicts and improve working relationships.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics to promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations issues and actions taken, ensuring confidentiality and privacy of all information.
- Continuously assess and improve employee satisfaction and engagement levels through surveys, feedback, and other measures.
- Serve as a resource for employees, providing guidance and support on workplace policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external resources, such as legal counsel, to handle complex or sensitive employee relations issues.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and trends in employee relations to suggest improvements and maintain a competitive edge.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Regulations, And Policies.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Employee Relations, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information.
Strong Problem-Solving And Conflict Resolution Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Resolve Employee Relations Issues.
