As an Employee Relations Officer, you will be responsible for fostering positive relationships between employees and management, promoting a fair and inclusive work environment, and handling employee complaints and concerns. This role is essential in ensuring employee satisfaction and maintaining a productive and harmonious workplace. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, empathetic, and has a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.   1. Foster positive relationships between employees and management through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
  2. Promote a fair and inclusive work environment by ensuring equal treatment and opportunities for all employees.
  3. Handle employee complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, addressing any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  4. Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide guidance to both employees and management.
  5. Conduct investigations into employee relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, and other workplace conflicts.
  6. Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations.
  7. Act as a mediator between employees and management to resolve conflicts and improve working relationships.
  8. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics to promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
  10. Maintain accurate records of employee relations issues and actions taken, ensuring confidentiality and privacy of all information.
  11. Continuously assess and improve employee satisfaction and engagement levels through surveys, feedback, and other measures.
  12. Serve as a resource for employees, providing guidance and support on workplace policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with external resources, such as legal counsel, to handle complex or sensitive employee relations issues.
  14. Stay informed of industry best practices and trends in employee relations to suggest improvements and maintain a competitive edge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Regulations, And Policies.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Employee Relations, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Conflict Resolution Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Resolve Employee Relations Issues.
