As an Emergency Physical Resources Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the state's physical resources during emergencies, such as natural disasters or public health emergencies.   1. Manage and coordinate the state's physical resources during emergencies, including natural disasters and public health crises.
  2. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and protocols to ensure readiness for potential disasters.
  3. Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to gather and allocate resources as needed.
  4. Conduct regular assessments of the state's physical resources and make recommendations for improvements or additions.
  5. Monitor and track resource usage during emergencies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Communicate with the public and media outlets regarding emergency resources and response efforts.
  7. Train and educate staff and community members on emergency preparedness and response.
  8. Stay updated on current emergency management practices and procedures to continuously improve response capabilities.
  9. Maintain accurate records and reports of resource usage and expenditures.
  10. Coordinate with other emergency management personnel and agencies to ensure a coordinated and effective response.
  11. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
  12. Analyze and assess potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity while representing the state during emergency situations.
  14. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of emergency response plans and make necessary adjustments.
  15. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to emergency response and resource management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Emergency Management Or Resource Coordination.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Emergency Management Laws, Regulations, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Coordinate And Manage Resources In High-Stress Situations.

  • Certification In Emergency Management, Such As Certified Emergency Manager (Cem) Or Professional Emergency Manager (Pem), Preferred.
