  1. Conduct thorough investigations of construction projects to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor and inspect construction sites to identify potential safety hazards and violations of building codes.
  3. Document and report any violations or unsafe practices to the appropriate authorities.
  4. Collaborate with other agencies and departments to ensure effective enforcement of construction laws and regulations.
  5. Respond to and resolve complaints or concerns from the public regarding construction projects.
  6. Conduct interviews and gather evidence during investigations to support findings and recommendations.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and other stakeholders to promote compliance with construction laws and regulations.
  8. Stay up-to-date on changes in construction laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  9. Provide guidance and training to construction industry professionals on best practices and compliance with laws and regulations.
  10. Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of investigations and findings.
  11. Participate in meetings and presentations to educate the public and stakeholders about construction laws and regulations.
  12. Collaborate with legal teams to support prosecution of construction violations.
  13. Uphold the values and mission of the State of Arizona in all aspects of the job.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions and communications.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Construction Inspection Or Investigation

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Construction Codes And Regulations

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Prepare Detailed Reports And Effectively Communicate Findings To Stakeholders.
