- Monitor and inspect construction sites to identify potential safety hazards and violations of building codes.
- Document and report any violations or unsafe practices to the appropriate authorities.
- Collaborate with other agencies and departments to ensure effective enforcement of construction laws and regulations.
- Respond to and resolve complaints or concerns from the public regarding construction projects.
- Conduct interviews and gather evidence during investigations to support findings and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and other stakeholders to promote compliance with construction laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in construction laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant parties.
- Provide guidance and training to construction industry professionals on best practices and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of investigations and findings.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to educate the public and stakeholders about construction laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with legal teams to support prosecution of construction violations.

Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Construction Inspection Or Investigation
Knowledge Of State And Federal Construction Codes And Regulations
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Prepare Detailed Reports And Effectively Communicate Findings To Stakeholders.
