  1. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazards.
  2. Develop and implement safety protocols, policies, and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  3. Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
  5. Collaborate with various departments to provide training and education on safety protocols and regulations.
  6. Monitor and analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  8. Serve as a resource and advisor to management and employees on safety-related matters.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to safety compliance.
  10. Participate in emergency preparedness planning and response efforts.
  11. Communicate safety-related information and updates to employees and stakeholders.
  12. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the organization's safety culture.
  13. Conduct safety audits of contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  14. Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to stay informed of best practices and industry standards in safety and health.
  15. Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies during safety inspections and audits.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Workplace Safety And Health.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Occupational Safety And Health, Preferably In A Government Or Regulatory Setting.

  • Professional Certification In Safety And Health, Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih).

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Diverse Stakeholders And Conduct Training And Presentations.
