- Collaborate with department heads and agency leaders to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify potential compliance issues and develop effective solutions
- Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance issues and expectations
- Investigate and resolve reported compliance violations or concerns
- Maintain accurate and updated records of compliance activities and reports
- Communicate with external agencies and stakeholders regarding compliance matters
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders on compliance activities and findings
- Stay current on industry best practices and trends related to compliance
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding compliance questions and concerns
- Uphold a high standard of ethics and integrity in all compliance-related activities.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Law, Business, Or Public Administration.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Compliance-Related Role, Preferably In A Government Or Regulatory Agency Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To The Specific Industry Or Sector Being Regulated.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Compliance Risks.
Professional Certifications Such As Certified Compliance And Ethics Professional (Ccep) Or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (Crcm) Are Preferred, But Not Required.
