  1. Conduct routine inspections of state-owned buildings to identify any maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner.
  2. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the proper function of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  3. Respond promptly to work orders and service requests from building occupants and address any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
  5. Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed for specialized maintenance tasks or repairs.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by properly disposing of waste, cleaning up spills, and following safety protocols.
  7. Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment and order new supplies as needed.
  8. Conduct regular maintenance on building equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  9. Monitor building systems and energy usage to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to building occupants and respond to any inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  11. Stay up-to-date on relevant building codes and regulations and ensure compliance at all times.
  12. Assist with emergency response and disaster recovery efforts, if needed.
  13. Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information related to building maintenance.
  15. Continuously look for ways to improve building maintenance processes and procedures.
