  1. Provide direct assistance and support to individuals with mental health challenges.
  2. Conduct regular check-ins with clients and monitor their progress towards recovery.
  3. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  4. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and transportation.
  5. Utilize strong empathy and active listening skills to establish a trusting and supportive relationship with clients.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and any incidents or changes in behavior.
  7. Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  8. Advocate for clients and promote mental wellness within the community.
  9. Stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in the field of behavioral health.
  10. Act as a positive role model and provide guidance and support to clients in their journey towards recovery.
  11. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for clients of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the field of behavioral health.
  13. Participate in regular trainings and meetings to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.
  14. Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Techs to ensure consistency and quality of care for all clients.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of the organization and promote a positive image within the community.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Behavioral Health Tech 1 - Rover Must Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Be Considered For The Job.

  • Knowledge Of Behavioral Health Principles And Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Behavioral Health Principles And Practices, Including Treatment Methods, Crisis Intervention Techniques, And Medication Management.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Or Mental Health Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Or Mental Health Setting Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Could Include Experience As A Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Or In A Similar Role.

  • Cpr And First Aid Certification: The Candidate Should Have Current Cpr And First Aid Certification Or Be Willing To Obtain It Upon Employment. This Is Essential For Providing Emergency Care To Patients.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Behavioral Health Tech 1 - Rover Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Individuals From Diverse Backgrounds And Cultures.
