  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health challenges
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and behaviors
  • Assist with developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care for clients
  • Utilize effective communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, families, and team members
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Behavioral Health Tech 1 Job At State Of Arizona Is A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Capable Of Performing The Necessary Tasks.

  • Experience In Behavioral Health: Previous Experience In The Field Of Behavioral Health Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Could Include Experience Working With Individuals With Mental Health Or Substance Abuse Issues, Either In A Clinical Or Community Setting.

  • Cpr And First Aid Certification: State Of Arizona Requires All Behavioral Health Tech 1 Employees To Have A Valid Cpr And First Aid Certification. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained And Prepared To Handle Any Medical Emergencies That May Arise In Their Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Behavioral Health Tech 1, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Individuals Who May Be Struggling With Mental Health Or Substance Abuse Issues.
