  1. Process and review all incoming invoices and payment requests from vendors and suppliers.
  2. Ensure that all invoices are accurate, properly coded, and comply with company policies and procedures.
  3. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with payments.
  4. Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
  5. Reconcile accounts payable balances and resolve any discrepancies.
  6. Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
  8. Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and policies to ensure compliance.
  9. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  10. Prepare and distribute reports on accounts payable activities as needed.
  11. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.
  13. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  14. Train and mentor new accounts payable employees as needed.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable Or General Accounting

  • Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Government Accounting Procedures

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Accounting Software

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Meet Deadlines And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
