- Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Organize and maintain case files and documents, ensuring all necessary materials are easily accessible.
- Coordinate and manage communication with external parties, including clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Schedule and prepare attorneys for meetings, hearings, and trials.
- Review and summarize legal documents, such as depositions and medical records.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witnesses.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current laws, regulations, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and provide recommendations.
- Continuously monitor and update case status and deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
- Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and other team members.
- Utilize legal databases and software to manage and track case information.
- Attend and participate in meetings and trainings as required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by attorneys and/or management.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field: This Qualification Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Legal Principles And Procedures.
Prior Experience As A Litigation Paralegal: State Farm May Prefer Candidates With Previous Experience In A Similar Role, As It Shows Familiarity With The Company's Processes And Procedures.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Court Systems: As A Litigation Paralegal, Familiarity With Court Systems And Procedures Is Crucial For Managing Cases Effectively.
