- Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare for trials and other legal proceedings.
- Develop and implement defense strategies to protect State Farm's policyholders' interests.
- Represent State Farm and its policyholders in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
- Draft legal documents, including but not limited to pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal disputes.
- Manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to share knowledge and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
- Attend and participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to ethical standards and professional codes of conduct.
- Represent State Farm in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

J.d. From An Accredited Law School And Active License To Practice Law In The State Where The Position Is Located.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Insurance Defense Litigation, Preferably With A Focus On Personal Injury And Property Damage Claims.
Strong Understanding Of Insurance Law And Regulations, As Well As Knowledge Of State And Federal Court Systems.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Represent State Farm In Court And During Settlement Negotiations.
Demonstrated Track Record Of Success In Defending Clients In High-Stakes Trials And Achieving Favorable Outcomes For Both The Client And Company.
