Job Description

State Farm is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our legal team. Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues related to insurance defense cases.
Gather and organize evidence, documents, and other materials for use in trial preparation.
Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to obtain necessary information and documents.
Maintain accurate and organized case files, including tracking deadlines and court appearances.
Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and other discovery materials.
Prepare exhibits and other visual aids for use in trials.
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
Attend trials and provide support to attorneys as needed.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to insurance defense.
Work closely with other members of the legal team to ensure efficient and effective case management.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of job responsibilities.
Meet deadlines and manage time effectively to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development in the legal field.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Paralegal In Insurance Defense Or A Related Field.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Insurance Laws And Regulations.
Strong Attention To Detail And Excellent Organizational Skills.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Attorneys, Clients, And Other Team Members.
