  1. Conduct on-site inspections of property damage claims to accurately assess damages and determine coverage and claim settlements.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing their concerns and inquiries regarding their property claims.
  3. Collaborate with other team members, such as adjusters and underwriters, to accurately and efficiently process property damage claims.
  4. Utilize strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate findings and decisions to clients, colleagues, and superiors.
  5. Maintain detailed and accurate records of property inspections and claims processes.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and accurate claim assessments.
  7. Use strong analytical skills to evaluate information and make informed decisions regarding coverage and claim settlements.
  8. Prioritize and manage a high volume of property damage claims to meet established timelines and service level agreements.
  9. Identify and report any potential fraudulent activity related to property claims.
  10. Continuously improve and streamline processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  11. Uphold the values and reputation of State Farm by maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  12. Represent State Farm in a positive and knowledgeable manner to clients, industry professionals, and the public.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Property Insurance Policies: A Claim Specialist - Property Field Inspection Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Property Insurance Policies, Including Coverage And Exclusions, To Accurately Evaluate Claims.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Claim Specialist, One Must Have Exceptional Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Agents, And Other Parties Involved In A Claim.

  • Attention To Detail: Property Claims Often Involve A Significant Amount Of Paperwork And Documentation. Claim Specialists Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Review And Process These Documents.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: In Order To Properly Assess Property Damage And Determine The Appropriate Coverage, A Claim Specialist Must Possess Strong Analytical Skills. This Includes The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Sound Decisions Based On That Data.

  • Prior Property Inspection Experience: State Farm May Require Prior Experience In Property Field Inspection Or A Related Field, Such As Construction Or Real Estate, To Ensure The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Property Damage And Repair Costs.
