Job Description

As a Claim Specialist at State Farm, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing claim processes. You will need to have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of both customer service and insurance principles. You will be a key point of contact for customers and will handle claim inquiries, process payments, and provide guidance throughout the claim process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively impact customers’ lives and make a real difference in the community.The ideal candidate for this role will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the customer service and/or insurance industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience using computers and customer service software, will be important in this role. You should also have experience working with people from all walks of life, and have the ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
