- Collaborate with other Shift Supervisors and the Store Manager to continuously improve store operations.
- Manage cash handling and ensure accurate and timely cash deposits.
- Assist with scheduling and payroll for team members.
- Stay up-to-date with new products and promotions and effectively train team members on them.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the company.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for team members and customers.
Previous Supervisory Experience: Candidates For A Shift Supervisor Position At Starbucks Should Have Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Food Service Environment. This Experience Should Demonstrate The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Handle Various Tasks Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Shift Supervisor, Effective Communication Is Crucial In Ensuring Smooth Operations And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment. Candidates Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, And The Ability To Communicate With Team Members, Customers, And Upper Management.
Strong Customer Service Skills: Starbucks Places A High Emphasis On Providing Exceptional Customer Service. A Shift Supervisor Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Excellent Customer Service And Be Able To Coach And Mentor Team Members To Do The Same.
